For Bob Ruby, every mile is a tribute to his son, Cameron. When Cameron’s leukemia returned after a bone marrow transplant, he made a selfless choice: he gave his wish to his parents. Instead of a trip to Hawaii, Cameron created a sanctuary at their home for them, filled with love and memories. Riding Wish-A-Mile became Bob’s way to honor Cameron’s spirit and ensure other families experience the power of a wish.

This isn’t just any ride; it’s Make-A-Wish Michigan’s largest fundraising event, uniting passionate riders from every corner of our state and beyond to create life-changing wishes for our local heroes, our wish kids. With every mile you conquer, you’re not just cycling – you’re spreading hope!
Any and all riders welcome! We have 100-mile, 200-mile and 300‑mile route options available and we’ll support you both with fundraising and with training every step of the way. Let’s make magic happen!
